Tug Ropes
What are they?
As the name suggests these are a rope like toy that are soft enough for your dog pull down and bite on, but not so hard that they damage their teeth or gums. Playing tug of war encourages building on human /dog interaction and also can add a great outlet for your dog’s natural canine instinct to pull things with their jaw. Our ropes have also been specially designed that you can insert small treats into the braid (when stretched) so that your dog is rewarded by the game.
What are they made from?
The ropes are made from braided or plaited anti pil fleece. Non fray so safe for your dogs.
How do I Clean Them?
The ropes are all machine safe! Pop in the machine on a delicate wash on a delicate cold cycle and leave to air dry.
I have a destructive dog – are they indestructible?
No toys are indestructible but every toy is safe and suitable for your pet if they are trained to use it. You must ensure the correct size rope is chosen for your breed and their jaw size, for example a small rope would be unsuitable for a German Shepherd. For all dogs (destructive ones in particular) your pet should always be supervised with our toys.
What treats can I put in the rope?
You can put any of your pets usual dry food or treats.
